Hello. First time joining a form and first post. I have a 2015 XF 2.0 gas Jag with a bad timing chain sprocket on the intake side. I think I can repair this myself but finding information on these cars is very difficult. Any help would be appreciated especially a manual.

The engine used is a 2.0 Ford Ecoboost which is also used in the Range Rover Evoque and many other makes of vehicle. The problem you have is fairly common and you will find all the info you need if you search the various motoring forums. I do a lot of work on Evoques so I use that workshop manual and it is very easy to find a free download which will have everything you need to do the repair.

 

Excellent. This is what I was hoping to find. I was able to find YouTube videos that show the work involved and the special tools. Now to decide if I want to do this myself! Thank you
