DID EMAIL YOU,,,, a week ago.... zero response........sweet deal....love the secrecy
Well, I just searched my email for the keyword "Jaguar" and I see all responded to. It is very well possible that it did not come through to our email. We see this happen every day with small typos while typing in our email (a lot of people don't put the "d" on the end of eurocharged)

Apologies if your email was missed, if you would like, I can take care of you still.
Thanks
for your email i clicked on the link provided in your post,,, so im thinking it wasent typed in wrong....so tell me the deal? you also could check here see the 2 respondents and then contact them as well....i find this whole thing a bit sketchy.... reminds me of the time a used car salesman told me that front wheel drives are supposed to pull to the right when you apply the brakes... : )
In Philip's defence, he did reply to me within 24 hours but Google Spamwatchers pushed his email into their Spam bucket. I'm not sure how much of a gain I would get on my otherwise stock 2010 XFR....thinking of doing the Mina rear exhaust mod at some point too...trying to be kind to the wallet.... ;-)
Yes, did the deed with Philip yesterday and today Mr UPS dropped off a box with the MyGenius handheld programmer which carries the EuroCharged logo.
Did the software updates as required then plugged it into the XFR to read the existing ECU. Downloaded the file and emailed it off, now time for their magic...
So far the most painful part has been paying TX Sales Tax on top of the (discounted) price...
I'm right behind you. Updated the software on the PC and unit... Today I repaired a trunk harness wire to remove any warnings (since the directions say you need to clear warnings). Tomorrow I read the ECU. Stmcknig - Did you attach a battery charger during download? I plan to... I have a very nice battery maintainer gadget. Want to do it right the first time!

Yes I have the battery maintainer that Land Rover shops use when working with the SDD factory software as some of those programming tasks take up to an hour. It's more important to have it when writing to the ECUs. They warn you off against cheap battery CHARGERS because they can still spike the voltages.
I had no faults to start but I noticed during the read operation a few warnings come up in the driver information - park brake fault, transmission fault but they went away on ignition cycle at the end so I'm assuming that's part of the lockout of the ECU during the read. When I pulled the codes they were temporary "U***** unable to communicate with "
The knuckles will probably be a little whiter during the write... ;-)

The various systems triggering fault lights during the read/write process is completely normal. Communication with the ECU requires it to be locked out from all of the other systems which makes the car cranky. If any fault codes linger when the write process is complete they will go away with 5 ignition cycles.
OK well the tune file was waiting in my email box when I got home and never one to be patient, loaded it onto the MyGenius, hooked the car up to the battery tender and went through the writing steps. Several ignition cycles later we appear to be done with no drama. A few messages in the dash display as before but nothing permanent. Check engine light on (which I cleared) due to some "communication lost" messages - I have no reason to doubt Philip that if I didn't have the equipment to clear them, they would have gone away on their own.
I guess now we watch and wait a few days to see what things I can notice. I also think that I will be treating myself to the pulley install now that there's a Eurocharged shop just up the road
