Default 255/45r20?

I have tires from my old car (Chrysler 300), sitting in storage, was wondering if I could use these on my 2011 Jag XF?

No, you can't use 20" tires on 18" rims...

Sorry, that wasn't my question. I have 20" tires and rims. I want to know if the tire size 255/45r20 would be ok on the car, as in if there is enough clearance and will it compromise the ride/suspension any?

Stock size on the XF would be 255/35R20 so they are definitely taller than stock...

Have you got Jag rims? 'cause the 300C ones won't fit...

255/40 maybe, but not 255/45.

I have a set of chrome and a set of black rims that I had bought for my 300, spent a lot on them so I wanted to re-use them with the Jag if possible but it seems like it won't be. Now I have to figure out where I can sell them. Don't think I wanna do ebay, since I'd have to worry about packaging and shipping.

You can do eBay or try the 300 for sale section with local pickup only. But without shipping you are seriously limiting your access to buyers, so expect them to take a long time to sell.
