I have an 09 XF supercharged that is in pieces (bought it for nothing) looking to put it back together, engine is toast and I wanna get it back to 100%. Its not a salvage which is great, but I also dont wanna spend a 30k on it.

So simple question, is the NA 4.3 the same as the SC one, or are there big differences?

Ive read on here for a while now and found no real answer either way, Ive got the know how, the tools and all else, just wanna see what the crossover is.

 

Way different, including electronics, sensors, and even the engine internals and compression ratio. You will want to source a replacement engine from a S/C model.
