4.2 Supercharged SV8 Vacuum Tube Adapter AJ811275 dilemma
I have a 2009 Jaguar Supercharged 4.2 SV8 and there's whistling sound when I step on the throttle which annoys me a lot.
My Jaguar indy mechanic here in Toronto discovered that there's a leak on my vacuum hose adapter when replacing the manifold absolute pressure sensor several months ago. The problem is that Jaguar no long makes the replacement part AJ811275 (I read elsewhere it was a faulty design and others have had similar problems).
I have called numerous American and British parts stores and none of them carry it.
Has anybody else had similar issue? Any suggestion whether a generic or another part can serve as substitute?
