Default ACC fault

ACC fault. Before I brought my sportbrake the garage had a fault fixed (ACC light flashing) The fault was fixed by replacing the radar unit at the front of the car. Now I have it, When driving the car with the ACC activated is seems to work ok if cars are ahead of me. BUT when there isn't a car ahead of me, and I'm in the middle lane (especially when on a slight left hand bend in the road) the car detects cars that are in the inside lane, and acts as if it is the same lane as me, applying the brakes. It's as if the radar unit is looking slightly left, rather than straight ahead ?
Affter testing several times with now faults on the dash, I now had the warning " Cruse control not available"
I'm wondering if the unit needs to be set up correctly, or calibrated ?? Has anyone experienced anything like this ? The car still has warranty, so I will be getting in touch with them, but I'd like to be one step ahead of them if possible .

Yes, the new Radar needs to be calibrated. The calibration routine can be started from SDD or from certain OBD scanners. I suggest to ask the garage if they did that.
