Advice on how to resolve Tire Pressure fault and flickering odometer
I wanted to share some of my experiences that I've had with the Jaguar XF. I own a 2009 Jaguar XF and I had a "Check tire pressure" sign come up. The sign would indicate that all of the tires needed to be checked and within the next several seconds, the sign would disappear. I tried multiple and various attempts to get rid of these signs, however nothing worked. I decided to contact a buddy of mine that works for Jaguar/Land Rover and he advised me that he will perform an upgrade of the software on my Jaguar XF. Surprisingly, I have driven for over 100 miles and the sign has not appeared.
During the week, my girlfriend and I were cruising at night when she noticed that the Jaguar odometer display was slightly flickering. I read several forums on what could be causing the flickering and I ran into an article that stated that the Jaguar XF should not be linked to an Iphone 4 or 5. The only Apple product that was linked to my vehicle was the ipod that I used for music. I decided to give it a try by disconnecting the ipod and the flickering has officially disappeared.
Hope this thread helps all Jaguar XF owners.

Hi folks,
I own a 2012 XF and I use an IPhone 3g and also an IPod connected to center console dedicated jack. I have not experienced any kind of flickering and my phone and IPod work well.
Have there been verified reports of problems using an IPhone or Ipod with an XF? This is the first that I have heard of this. Kindly provide any info that you have regarding the issue as stated by OP. Thanks.

The tpms error issue is common and a software reflash fixes it in every case that I've encountered, including my own.
I've used an iPhone 5 and 5s over the past year and a half on my 09 and have never experienced the flickering issue

The reason I linked the Apple Ipod to the flickering issue is because the first question my Jaguar mechanic asked me was if my car was connected to any Apple products before he reprogrammed my car. He is a specialist in Jaguar/Land Rover and works at the Manhattan location for several years. He informed me that Apple products engage with the Jaguar computer causing it to give out various signs. I've owned this car for one year and a half and I never had flickering issues. The flickering was extremely light and the only way you realize that it is in fact flickering is if you look very closely to the odometer. Initially, I thought the back light was giving out on me, but I decided to turn off the vehicle, remove the Ipod and turn the car back on to see if there were any results. So far, drove for several days and nothing is flickering (Kept the ipod off my car). I will try to find additional sources to link. I found a post where another Jaguar owner changed his entire Bluetooth module to fix this issue.. So, maybe I got off easy? Good luck guys.
