Default Brake Rotors

My 09 XF/SC just had the rear brakes and rotors changed (OEM) but the front have more than 4 mm on the pads and the rotors are just barely under 30 mm. What is considered a normal thickness for the front rotors and when should they be changed?

I am showing 30mm is new, and 28mm is worn out for the 4.2 naturally aspirated. My docs don't show the 4.2 Supercharged.
