There does not seem to be a compatibility list or any info of these in an XF, does anyone here know or have installed one themselves ?

And if it is possible does it work with the steering controls etc?

If you have 2013MY and newer XF, as variant possible retrofit InControl App option, for this needs TIM module, wiring, software update and activation in configuration file.

 

Would the changes necessary to get inControl mean a complete change to the interface including the new graphics and menus? I prefer my 2013 interface compared to what was in a '16 I had for a week.

 

The InControlApp and InControl Music (as seen on previous reply - it's additional menu on mine XF 2013MY ) works on IAM2.1 level 3 head unit w/o any problems. The TIM module were installed on Jaguars 2015MY and 2015MY Evoque's.
