I know I've been out of the loop for a while, but I've been busy setting up a new business. I now have a full retail pre owned dealership, as well as the service / repair shop you all know.

For you guys that don't know me. I'm not some fly by night used car dealer that found a forum to advertise his car. I'm a jag nut and a long time member of this forum. Look at my post count, thanks etc. I know these cars inside and out. And as much as I'd like to sell more of these cars, most of the ones I come across are just neglected and too far gone to allow me to put my name on them.

I came across this gem and figured I would put it up on the forums as well.

These X308 chassis XJ8’s are in my opinion the last of the classic Jags. The newer cars may be more technologically advanced and have more horsepower etc, but they have gotten so far away from the classic and instantly recognizable Jaguar style and soul that they have become basically just another car… This car is poetry in motion, and one of the last instantly recognizable Jaguars ever produced.

From the moment you open the heavy door and see the beautiful leather and walnut wood appointed cabin you realize this car is special, it has a soul. You are surrounded in a level of understated luxury that few cars can rival. This is probably one of the best examples in the country. It has only traveled 68k miles in its pampered life.

This car came from the factory heavily loaded and features the following equipment:

This car runs and drives like brand new! We have personally driven it over 300 miles and it hasn’t skipped a beat. It’s loaded with great features.

This car has a super low for the year 68k highway miles. This car is in extremely good mechanical condition. It starts right up as soon as you turn the key. Everything works and there are no check engine lights / stories / mechanical problems or fluid leaks. Alignment is good and it tracks straight and true, and has no vibrations or issues up to 90mph. It rides very smoothly. The car rides on a matched set of Pirelli all season tires that have near new tread.

Now every used car has some cosmetic flaws however minimal. This particular jaguar has a very slight ding / scratch on the front passenger side fender on the side almost parallel to the headlight. It’s BARELY noticeable but its there. The rear bumper has a few scratches, but other than that the body is exceptional. There are no rips or tears in the leather, no burn holes or any other evidence of smoking in the car. The factory owner’s manuals are in place. Overall it’s a VERY nice car especially for the year. I would rate it a 8.5 /10 overall and I’m VERY picky with cars. I tend to be overly critical and under describe cars, but I’d rather you be impressed when you get your new car rather than disappointed due to the unrealistic descriptions.

Oops!!! I have a personally owned xk8 - see my sig and for some reason I ALWAYS think xk8! I just picked up a higher miles x350 xj8l too.
