Default Air con module

Hi, I have a XF 2.2 diesel 2013, I’m trying to find out where the heating and air conditioning module is and if there is anything I need to know before changing it. Do I need to disconnect both batteries and will the car need re programming. Thanks for any help

Welcome to the forums Steve298,

I've moved your question from X260 to X250 forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

If you mean the Automatic Temperature Control Module, it is mounted on the outboard end of the air inlet duct, behind the front passenger side of the instrument panel. See item 6:

I would not expect this to be a programmable module and that it would simply 'plug&play'. As I haven't changed one, others here may know better.
