Default Almost a '09XF SC owner, two ?s on lights, supercharger

About to head out the door to test drive a 2009 SC over here in the sandbox. Being a real gearhead, does anyone know how many lobes the rotors have (3,4?), and does this model year have the J-hook (forgot where I read that, but is that accurate?) daytime running lights? Looking at the low-res vids on you tube and looking through the brochure, I still cant tell...

Am I right in thinking the '12 headlights wont fit on an '09?

I passed a '12 on the way home, and the taillights looked like something straight out of the last TRON movie. I slowed down and was rubbernecking to get a better look. No joy on those taillight units fitting an '09?

The one I'm buying doesn't have the lighted door sills either. Is it possible to add new units to an '09? Is the wiring even set up to support it?

Yes, unless you change the hood, front fenders and bumper cover.

The outter rear light assemblies will fit, but, if inners are desired as well for the complete look, you will have to get a new trunk lid.

The door sills can be added on to a 09. There are many threads on it.

Thanks for the info.

Good to know there are fellow New Yorkers here on the forums, even if I'm like 7000 miles away from home.
