Another xk8 Heater issue
Ok another no heat in the cabin thread. A/c blows cold and interior fan works and all outlets setting work. The following was already checked.
1. Backflushed cooling system to include removing all hoses in and out of heater core, in and out of aux pump, in and out of heat valve. Also did all the maze of auxiliarry heater hoses. All flushed fairly clean but all cleared and moved fresh water in and out.
2. Pump turns and works, when directly wired to a power source.
3. Valve opens and closes when directly wired to a power source.
4. Cleaned interior temperature sensor motor thing on dash next to steering wheel.
5. No error codes on the EVAC system or OBDii.
Problem is there doesnt seem to be power to either the pump or the valve when the car is powered on.
What is the sequence of events that powers both the valve and pump. I understand that when the car is powered up the auxiliary motor should start and valve should open on any setting other then LO.
Fuse for pump checked ok.
Any help .... APpreciated.
Thank You in advance....
