any advice on getting premature brake pad replacement covered by warranty?

'Warped' rotors are pretty much a myth. The thumping brake pedal or steering wheel shaking is caused by deposits of brake pad material adhering to the rotor surface. It's easily removed with a sanding disk. Rotor replacement or 'turning' is not required.

You'd think they would just do that instead of replacing the rotors then. I don't think they touched the pads, so we'll see how this pans out.
