Default Anybody have the Mina Gallery Stainless hood louvers?

Looking at getting a set for my car but I'd like to see a pic of them on a car. Mine has the blacked out package and is Stratus grey so I am trying to decide what color would look right. I'm thinking maybe black stainless steel but would love to see pics hopefully of bright and black stainless of it on a car.

Ah but you don't have a ton of GMs "best" driving around over there. The cheap plastic ones on there now scream Pontiac we build excitement crap imo. If it was a nicer looking vent I'd be happy with it but plastic that looks tupperware quality not so much.

Vents finally arrived today (seems Mina is having shipping issues). They weren't exactly easy to install. Needed to shim the bars they use to hold them in place with lots of electrical tape but they are quite shiny. I would prefer painted to match but these will work for now.

Its my personal opinion but I am not a fan, and the way you worded everything sounds like you arent either. You should strip the chrome and have them painted gloss black. I think they would look 1000% better

Gloss black would look horrible for my car as it is grey. I don't dislike 'em. I think they are 100 times better then the cheap plastic Jaguar ones. I just know there isn't a proper way to paint and match with all the metal flake in my paint.

Nope, still don't like - they look cheap and nasty, sorry just my little opinion.

That is funny as they have a much better fit and finish then the plastic ones Jag puts on but tuperware is the new rage in the auto world so I understand your perspective. I just don't think an 80k car should have the same texture plastic as your $2 food storage container but that's just me. Ya should have saved thousands and bought the GM. They make great plastic bits! LOL

I also added the chrome mirror covers, side vents and Mina exhaust. All Mina parts.

Looks are subjective and to ones personal opinion. I just happen to have better taste than those that don't like the look

I noticed mine say "R" and yours "Supercharged". Does Mina sell both styles?

Ha Ha Looks good on yours Mark, with the chrome grille and all. Mine is a super so hence the supercharged not r on the badge. I'd be happy if Jaguar actually had made something that didn't look dimestore (or nothing at all) to being with. Actuall would prefer old school louvers punched into the aluminum but that was probably too much work. Did you cut your insulation around the bigger hole or just delete it? I'm trying to figure out a nice clean way to cut and not have yellow insulation showing.
