Default Anybody know how to turn off vent open- close

Hi, does anyone know how to stop the auto air vent open. Close I like it but think it is just wearing the motors out,,, also the wipers only wash in one direction ,, I think this is an option as we'll.. I have a 2011?xf ..any advice will be great ,, thanks

The vent open/close is in the settings menu for either the system or vehicle settings. You might miss it because I think it's on one of those screens that you have to scroll down to see the rest of the options.

Don't know about the wipers.

Climate -> settings -> vent auto open -> toggle off

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the help.
I have a 2011 model XF, and if you know where to look it is there.


I just had a service yesterday and the dealer changed the windshield washer program and now the washers work anytime , not just on the upstroke...
We need a lot of water here to get the bugs off the windscreen, so this is much better.... ( and did not charge any extra !!!)
