Default Anyone done a mod for headlight in XFR

Test drove a 2010 xfr recently and enjoyed it a lot. Obviously the car is fast. Kind of hoped the exhaust sound was more aggessive. Anyways, visually, I think the car is unique and love the back. One thing keeping me froming making the purchase is, I've seen the new design for the headlights and now the 2010 just doesn't excite me. Was wondering if anyone had done any mods to make it look more aggressive. Pics would be appreciated.

I compared the two head lights (2009 vs. 2012) and they do mount the same and have the same exact plugs. Unfortunately the hood, bumper, and fender openings around the new headlight are slightly different so you'd need to replace everything to get them to work. If you get into a small fender bender you might be able to get a shop to install the 2012 parts.

The cheapest (< i don't like using that word talking about Jaguars) route to take would be to heat up and take the head lights apart. Once, that's done, you can paint the bezel black. It may look good and it may not, since the lights are much larger than they are on the 2012 models.
