to get the steering wheel to rise out of the way before you open the door? 2011 XFR

You could set the other seat memory to the desired wheel position if it will go up that high. I guess I've never tried. You'd have to hit the button every time though.

What are you planning on doing in that driver's seat?!? Can't you use the passenger seat instead?

The steering column on the 2012 has an 'auto' setting which is part of the column setting button.

But, no. It would be fine to rise after opening the door if the damn thing was faster moving out of the way.

You must be quick out of the door! Mine doesn't move much, but I have my seat set quite low and don't need it to move at all really.
