I have not. However the item for sale is simply a shock with no airbag. So unless you are able to put it inside a CATS airbag
it is of no use.

I have not seen any information on how to do such a replacement and would be interested to see such.

 

Correct me if I am wrong, but I understand that the CATS suspension and the airbag suspension are two different things, so you don't need airbags for CATS.
Although I also understand that some XJs (such as the earlier XJR) came with both, but the 2008/9 XF SV8 (or any XF for that matter) never had the airbag system.

When changing shocks, is it better to replace all four and is it better to replace the springs?
