Audio issue?
Two audio questions:
1) I was driving into work this morning in heavy snow (2010 XF SC with winter tyres is impressive in the snow...) Was listening to the FM radio and suddenly heard a loud 'pop' and it all went silent. Tried volume up and down and could see the vol level moving up and down on the screen - but all silent. So I turned the radio fully off, waited for a few seconds and back on and it worked fine. Just wanted to check if anyone has seen this before and if I should be worried about an impending issue? It's the B&W system.
2) I plug my ipod into the cable in the center console. The connector is clearly labelled 'does not support charging' - but the ipod does charge. Any insight into this? And will it charge an iPhone if I plug that in?
Thanks!

I can't comment on question #1. Regarding question #2, it depends on which iPod or iPhone you have. Newer models will not charge on MY10 XF because apple has changed the charging to allow for USB charging. There is a lot on this topic in this forum, just search. Not sure which model was the switch. I am sure that the iPhone 4s will not charge, not sure about iPhone 4. Also the iPhone 5 will not charge even if you buy the apple lightning adapter. You can solve this problem with a second adapter that changes the charging characteristics from the new to the old. I have a MY10 XF and use a Scosche power adapter along with the Apple lightning adapter. With this combination my iPhone 5 charges and provides all the control capabilities the Jaguar audio system provides.
I haven't had my audio stop while driving, but I have had it not have volume when first turned on. I think this was due to being in a non radio mode but last used on cd. Turned off and on again and it was fine.
