Default Auto Start/Stop on 6 or more Cylinders Only?

While my '13 3.0SC was in the shop yesterday they gave me a loaner XF. I'm nearly certain it was a 2013 with the 4 cylinder turbo. One thing that is for certain is that the car did not have the Auto Start/Stop ECO system that is found on mine. Wondering if Jaguar only put this on 6 and 8 cylinder cars or if maybe this was a very early production 2013 before they rolled it out?

The ECO system installed on all types XF, but for some markets this option is obsolete

Strange. This was definitely a US spec 2013 XF and the ECO system was nowhere to be found.

No - it's not on the 2 liter models in the 2013 model year. It was introduced in 2013 in the US models but only for the V6 and V8 spec cars
