2009 XF Supercharged. American VIN. I live in Canada (Saskatchewan). Was rear ended and repaired in Regina (no dealer here). Now no one can fix the back up camera and parking aid. Any suggestions or comments.

 

I mean its safe to assume maybe the boot harness got damaged due to the rear end, but as for the parking sensors maybe damaged as well? quite a simple fix for the boot harness and the cheaper option. Im having my camera looked at by JLR and I got the shitty end of the stick where they are replacing my harness that supposably wires from the bottom of the rug in the interior all the way to the front seats FML. Apparently there is 3 options to the camera, the camera itself, the module, and the harnesses. Best of luck mate! I know I enjoy and rely on my parking sensors quite a bit so I could only assume this hurts you bad as it would for me, especially with wifey driving the car to work at times lol!

 

An Autel will tell you what fault your system is showing. Any good shop should have one.
