Anyone know how to test this system?
I've never had it warn me. Even tried looking at the side view mirror when there is a car in the next lane. I don't see a faint hidden outline of a light on close inspection of the mirror. Is it possible I don't have the system? I have a J spec 2011 XFR.

 

If you slow down below around 5 mph, I think, or come to a stop (e.g. at traffice lights), there should be a single amber dot in the mirrors telling you that the system is on but not active (it only activates when you are traveling at some speed). If you have no amber dot, then it is either not present or malfunctioning. There should also be a faint outline of a graphic in the mirror which illuminates when a vehicle is in your blind spot.
