Bluetooth update so I can play music from my smartphone?
Hey guys, virgin here, haha. I hope I posted on the right spot. I just got a Jaguar XF 3.0d 2009, it doesn't have any USB port, just AUX and stuff like that. I can play music from my iPhone through the AUX port (but it makes a weird noise cause of the cable, had to change it today and now it's fine). But if I connect my iPhone through bluetooth, the only thing I can do is just use it as an actual phone ... call people and respond. I can't play music from the bluetooth.
Any idea how can I do that? Can I update the navigation sistem like the software version so I can play music directly on bluetooth from my iPhone?
Thanks a lot guys I really apreciate it!
Best regards,
Stefan

Sorry Stefan the only route I can think of is either a Bluetooth receiver that plugs into your AUX (3.5mm ) or if you have the iPod interface connector in the centre console box, you can get an iPod cable and a WMA1000 which should allow you to stream Bluetooth as if it were a wired iPod. Worked for me in my 2010 XFR.
