Moderators -
Have checked this out - certainly helpful. However...for us iPhone users the Jaguar guide 'ends' at iPhone 4 and things have moved on. If your car does not find your later iPhone, try turning off Siri. This is covered in posts elsewhere (which helped me) but probably ought to be covered in their sticky, too?
Thanks....

Don't get hung up on that info. It's old and no way can any car company keep up with the phones that are produced. Even trying to keep the documentation current is mind boggling.
When your car arrives give it a try. Sometimes it works just fine and given the year of your vehicle, I'd say it should pair fine.
So your new-to-you 2010 XKR ought to be fine....
I'll give that a try. So far, the phone is paired and works but not the contacts.
GOT IT! I deleted the phone from the car. Then I deleted previous parings from the phone, turned it off, turned it back on and it paired. Now the car finds my phone, the last calls I made/received and my phonebook!

this one:
I just bought an 09 XK and it paired and docked and I used it a couple times. I also have the Samsung S8. Now it says its not paired. I have tried deleting and it wont delete anything. The phone sees the car, not the other way though. Gremlins. I will try again and hope the Gremlins are napping or something.
can you stream music through the bluetooth connection, or do you still need to use that goofy cable to connect? my iphone 6 plus works for phone calls via bluetooth but not for streaming music. i have the 2014 XKR-S.

Based on this, the 2010 XKR I am about to buy will not connect with my iPhone 6.
