Check Engine light comes on for a day and goes off for atleast 2-3 days. I have experienced my starter not turning over. This happened 3 times so far. It would crank but not start. I've had the car for two months under extended warranty. I had it checked but not sure if the mechanic was thorough. He said it could be the battery so I'l try taking it to autozone in which they can never read the codes. Mechanic did say code read variable timer not sure what that means.
