Default Cheap tune

Does anyone offer a sub $1000 tune for the xfr in the NY/NJ area? I found someone who wanted me to mail him my ecu and offered the 40hp tune to me for $799. Too much of a hassle to remove and ship the ecu. So, is there anyone local???

I am happy with my 70rwhp tune from ECUTG. IT wasn't cheap but it really works and I havent found any side affects. 40hp isn't that much for 799 and you have to mail the ecu. I did mine at home in 1 hour tops.

$2k. If you use the pulley tool they give you it is not a PITA at all. If you use some other puller then its a PITA. I say its well worth it. I was like you for months and did not want to drop that much $. But then after seeing what others offered and the results I went this route as I got more power and support. Plus I like the fact I was able to do myself as he ships the laptop to your home or work so your not at the mercy of shipping your ecu somewhere or waiting for hours at some shop. Simple, conveinant and results. Just my opinion and experience.

I saw from a previous post you made you stated you don't even feel a difference in performance. Why would anyone spend 2k for something they can't feel. Trust me you should be able to feel an additional 80hp

Remember I also drive race cars, so my daily drivers dont feel like much to me. The dyno and the racing has shown much power that has been improved.
And if there was not much felt at 70hp would you throw away $799 for 40hp?
I dont drive my car hard since it is a daily driver so I bet if I stomp it more I bet I could feel more of a difference.
