Default Cincinnati Jaguar - Kudos for customer service

Ive been a member of this site for 2 years and most reviews for dealer service are pretty negative - posted a few rants myself, so thought it worthwhile to make a public thank you to Jaguar / Land Rover of Cincinnati

Two weeks ago took my 2010 XFR in after getting a low coolant message and brake pad warning. After a quick diagnosis they said the front pads were 5/10ths, rear 6/10ths so I did not need brakes right away and a bad sensor was probably the cause. Surprised by this because Ive had the car two years, drive it very hard and have yet to replace the brakes with 40k miles on the car. Said the coolant light was from a failing water pump. Brought it back a last week to perform the work, got a call a few hours later saying they must have been off their game the previous week because the front pads were 3/10ths, rear were 2/10ths, and the water pump was fine but the coolant hoses were leaking and needed replacement. They replaced the coolant pipes under warranty and to make up for the mistake said they would replace the rear pads / rotors for free if I paid to replace the front. Final bill came in $150 less than they quoted and $100 less than a 3rd party quote.

Of course would have been great to have things diagnosed right the first time but all in all got 2k worth of brakes that I planned on buying before winter anyway for $750, a 2014 XF awd loaner for two days and no questions asked about $800 in coolant work at no cost to me.

Ive been skeptical about taking my XFR or Range Rover to the dealer for service but have to say I left Friday thinking this was my first experience (including previously owned AMG Merc, S6 Audi and Lexus) where a dealer took a completely client first approach and showed they wanted to keep an owners long term business. Land Rover and Jag have both come a long way regarding reliability but awesome to see the difference in customer service compared to 3-4 years ago.

Long post, possibly anecdotal, and of little relevance to anyone outside the Cincinnati area but thought it worthwhile to give props when props are due

Thanks for sharing, really nice to hear someone shouting about the positives that are out there.

This may hopefully give others in your area the confidence to use this dealership.
Have you also posted reviews on their website etc?

Thanks again

I actually bought my 2012 XF SUpercharged from that very dealership 2 years ago. I had already spoken to them on the exact model and price and had all my details ready. I drove up from Columbia, SC to them and I explained to them that I will not be able to stay there too long. By the time I got to the dealership, they had everything ready for me. I spent exactly 1.5 hours at the dealership which included a 20 minute test-drive. Excellent service!! Highly recommend!

Really sounds like a dealership that listens to their customers.....how unusual!

Another (late) Jag dealer was in West Covina, CA. Penske Jaguar. When the X-Type first arrived, we leased one from them. The sales lady, Gina, was absolutely the best one that we ever dealt with.
She could have written a book on how to treat customers and she had her desk lined with "top sales person" trophys.
The car did need some service work and every time we called, they trailered another Jag to us for whatever time it took.
They also had a snack bar with fresh fruit, donuts and other goodies all fresh for that day. If one's Jag would take a few hours for whatever, they had free movie tickets and would take you to the theater and pick you up. One could also have a free car wash every day if desired. There were other things that were available for Jag owners, but I forgot some of them.
Unfortunately, Penske and Ford had an argument about penske moving to another location..Penske wanted to and Frod said no, so Penske quit selling Jaags. Very disappointing.
