Consumer reports released their report on reliability...I guess Jag owners are pretty hard on themselves. And Ford's customers have a more sophisticated infotainment system than they can understand...unlike the Japanese cars without the systems....

Considering that these testers, many owners and even dealer personnel are functionally illiterate 
..... I am not really surprised. How many people have you met who complain about the touch sensitive glove box release "button"? And when asked they try all the methods that the manual specifically says not to use.
Or owners too lazy to want to turn the selector when switching off and complaining that they have to? They haven't even tried switching off directly.
Or owners who cannot bother to get the oil changed (particularly diesel owners with DPF)?

Though I am a new Jag owner with about a month of experience, I thought a lot of the Jag reliability issues have been improved as of late. I'm in warranty for another 4 years so I'm not too worried for now.
Are there a lot of long-term Jag owners on the forum who are happy with the long-term ownership experience?
