There are 2 diaphragms and these are cheap so I would replace them.
They unscrew and the new ones spin back on.

Mine is a little different.
I was able to remove the cap without breaking the tabs and looked at the diaphragm. Didn't see any tears or holes so don't think that is the issue so I'm holding off replacing it.
Finally got my gaskets today and the supercharger to charge air cooler one has bends in it. Can I still use it or not if bent?
Regarding the gasket, the key is whether the metal will actually flatten out once the cover is attached. It is hard to tell from the photo if there are bends in the metal that won't flatten out. The rubber edge is providing the seal. What condition is the original gasket in? I think my original gasket was actually in good enough condition to re-use, but I did replace it anyways.
Your single diaphragm looks like it is possibly the same as the pair of diaphragms in the picture posted by clubairth1. Hard to tell though from the photos. Knowing part numbers for the 3.0 and 5.0 engines should answer the question.
I got it back together and filled with fluid. I got almost 90 ml of oil out of supercharger and it smelled worse than I could have ever expected. Stinky dog smell almost level of a skunk. I decided to put in 1 bottle of AC Delco which is 4 oz like I saw someone else post in another thread.
I debated using old gasket and it was in good shape but I want to keep this one a while and was worth replacing I had thought. It wasn't kinked and bent some of it back out but figured it would flatten after torquing
When clubairth1 said they spin on I figured not same because mine has 6 plastic tabs that hold it on. I've seen them on eBay and Amazon but gave up on it since mine seemed fine. I saved this one:

Looking back up thread I think you have the V-8? If not maybe this is one of the differences between the 6 and 8 cylinder cars?

Welcome and so thankful for the forum and all the info here. I have the 3.0 V6 so not sure when it could have changed.
