Cost of parts (UK)
Can anyone recommend an online parts store for Jag parts? I've just had a quote back from my local Jag specialist and the parts seem a bit eye watering but I'm not sure where I can source my own and if I'm getting the right parts. So, been quoted the following
1) Rear speaker grill in the headliner. £117 !! This seems a lot for a bit of plastic but struggling to find anywhere that sells them
2) Cambelt kit and belt £132 & £32. This site - Autodoc - has timing kits for half that - they are the same thing aren't they?
3) Rear brake disks £132
4) Rear Pads £58
5) Sensor wire - £23
For all the above brake parts they Autodoc seems a lot cheaper other than the disks?
6) caster arm bushes - £110 for two. This seems a lot but not sure what to compare it against.
I reckon I can probably do the brakes myself as I do basic maintenance on my VW T2 and TR6 ? Is it pretty straightforward? I guess there are youtube videos out there?
Many thanks

Beware there are at least 3 different versions of the rear speaker grill in the parcel shelf! The very early cars they are moulded into the shelf and not individually replaceable unless you cut them off and melt the plastic back together. It's mad the grill is that much when you consider the speaker underneath it is about £25 lol
thanks, I've got the sportbrake so the speakers are mounted in the headlining which makes it even more awkward. I'm loathe to try and pry it out and I can't find anything in the workshop manuals about removing it
