Question Cruise not available

i have a 2009 jaguar xf. This morning i started up the car as usual but to realise that there is a "Cruise not available" warning light on and it disappears after a few seconds. Can someone help me with this problem that im facing ?? Its quite urgent. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the forum.

Your problem will almost certainly be a slightly under charged battery.

Give it a full 24hr charge and see how it is then.

Alright imma go get my battery charged and see how it goes from there. Thanks for the advice @jimbov8

First check the battery but with a LOAD TESTER. I've seen many batteries pass the conductance test (I call it wimpy test) but not the load test. If the battery is good then I would go for the brake switch. Personally I would read fault codes but not everybody has the factory Jag tool. Brake switches go bad all the time...
