I have just replaced the passenger door mirror glass following a brush with another parked car. All the functions of the mirror work but when selecting reverse gear the mirror moves up and out, instead of in and down! Does anybody have any clues as to how to fix this? Peter

 

You may have to reset the mirror.
Start the car. Apply handbrake. Select R. Move the mirror to the position that you want it to be in reverse.
Select D.
Select R, and it should go to the new setting
