Default Side mirror is loose

Hi,
I left my driver's side mirror shut for nearly 24 hours, and upon returning to open it, I no longer feel any resistance. The side mirror feels loose to the point of it moving when shutting the door.
What can I do?

Check the three Phillips screws under the hinge (and behind a cover) for snugness first. I replaced a mirror assembly unnecessarily before finding out I just needed to tighten the hidden screws.

Yes. Pry from the hole in the cover.
