Default Door Wood Veneer Removal

This might be a dumb question, but does the door trim need to be removed in order to remove the wood veneer attached? 2012 XF Base. I am trying to either replace it or wrap it.

Yes - the veneer is held in place by metal clips on the back of the door trim, and you'll definitely need to remove the trim to remove these clips.

That's great. Thanks for the quick reply. No wonder I couldn't find any videos on removing the veneer only, as the door trim needs to be remove. Tons of videos on door trim removal though. Makes sense now. I think I will just wrap over it without removing the trim as I don't want to loosen anything inside the door that might make weird noises. Thank!
