Last night at the Dragway...."Snap!" Down goes another axle 2010 XFR on the 3rd pass of the night...This time wheel hop was NOT the culprit, the aftermarket bushings and polyurethane fills did their job. So now I will work toward the custom axle shafts. Hope the diff is as sturdy as it looks!!! Tires were the new Atturo AZ850 Drag Radials. They aren't close to the Nitto555r2 tires for road use, I could sling the Nittos on the twistys just like any other tire...not the same story with the Atturos. This is the 2nd track trip with the Atturos, and after a decent burn out heat cycle, they were biting pretty good. I got them (Atturos) due to a nationwide shortage in my particular size 305/30/20 in the Nittos. Atturo was the only other company that made DRs in that size so I got them. Not bad at the track last night but it was prepped pretty decently.
