Default Drivers heated seat xe

I will be having my third heated seat fitted in 3 years and have been told because it is just out of warranty it will cost around £400 . I have had it independately checked and they have confirmed its again the element, back to the jaguar dealer on Monday. Anybody any thoughts has to why.?

Welcome to the forum Davere,

The usual reason for seat heater failure is physical damage rather than an electrical fault. Ludicrous thought it may sound, simply kneeling on the seat base whilst cleaning the vehicle interior is a classic way to do this.
