My drivers seat rhs starts to move
but lhs doesn’t
any ideas or help please

 

Not sure I understand. Driver (right hand side) seat only starts to move, then stops? Or does it move normally?

And Passenger (left hand side) does not move at all? Does it make any noise?

 

Possibly something fell into the track and is preventing the seat from moving any further.

 

Hi, I recently had an issue when i bought the car. tried putting the seat back but it would only go so far, not as far as the passenger seat.

Turns out there was a nail in the track, the seat automatically gives itself a new 'maximum' position when hit with an obstacle.

To fix this, I put the seat forward, removed the nail, took the seat back to the 'temporary position' let go of the seat button, then re-held the seat button. This then allowed the seat to go fully back and the correct positions were back.

Hope this helps, not sure if this is what you're refencing with your seat not moving.
