Can the seat squab from a passenger seat be replaced by a drivers seat squab, then used to replace my ruined drivers seat?
In order words, are drivers and passenger seat frames the same?

There are 2 or 3 versions of the front seat and I think the SC model is the 3rd ( shape ? )

the difference in the first 2 is position sensors on last position return referred to as memory seats the basic version does not have the position sensors

This will have the 1 ; 2 ; 3 buttons on the master driver door controller.

my seats are indeed memory seats. And they are SC style.

I was hoping to put this ‘spare good drivers seat squab’ onto a ‘spare good passenger seat frame’ and do a quick swap of my utterly depressed ripped (upper and lower) drivers seat.
however, I don’t know about the spare passenger seat I have as it downs have the door card window/seat switches with it.

i have looked into those seat covers, but so many warnings online from people who had dreadful service from them, I think I’ll keep trying to find a solution…

id rather not ‘strip down’ my original driver seat if I can avoid it.
I was hoping to just take it out and drop in a substitute. But the only substitute I have right now is a passenger seat, and a drivers seat squab 😳… I feel I have a jigsaw puzzle with too few pieces in the box 😱🤯😂
