Default Mirror mirror on the door, who’s Jag is broken more…

Hi all
ove had the car laid up for the winter with the battery off and on trickle charge.
My steering column never extended or retracted most likely due to a cable drive issue as I could hear the motor trying and creating a clicking sound. The up and down motion worked fine, and sometimes even activated on the remote (easy access feature) my memory seats often forgot 🤷🏻‍♂️
but occasionally everything moved as it should (apart from the extend/retract).
However Since putting the car back on the road this month, my Mirrors WONT adjust, my steering column doesn’t move or make any sounds to suggest it’s even trying. My screen wash won’t squirt, but the seats move in all directions and even change positions when pressing memory 2 or 3 buttons.
i guess that suggests the Memory is working ..
are the column/mirrors & screen wash connected?
The fuse location map under my bonnet suggests the fuse for steering column and mirrors are on the Left Rear Seat fuse box.. I checked them and they are fine.
but today a saw an under bonnet fuse map showing the fuses are in the boot???? Are they different in different x300s (or perhaps the map I saw today was from a 308 as it was mounted on a shops wall…)
before I lose the remainder of my hair, could someone offer advice and a definitive answer on “DOING A RESET by battery terminal connections” being the solution… ???

Many many many thanks in advance 😳

The side mirrors have a module behind the steering column that may have the connector disturbed.

This same module controls the steering column as well without looking

The washer fluid motors are controlled by the body processor module

The BPM can be reset

thanks for that info. I’ve ‘wriggled’ the connectors to the black box on the steering column but still no movement.
how do I reset the BPM please?

thanks

there's a 5 amp fuse in the rear seat fuse boxes that's part of the circuit.
