I have a question about using different year map discs for east and west coast.

Will I have an issue using a 2011-2012 west disc and swapping to a 2013-2014 east disc for a week and then going back to the 11-12 west disc?

The reason this is concerning me is that I just pulled out my original 09-10 west disc for a new acquired 11-12 west disc and the system loaded a new file that took 15 min to take effect. If I put the 13-14 east disc in in July on my next trip, I assume it will also have to take 15 min to update the system for the rev. But I do not have a 13-14 west disc so I will have to go back to the 11-12 disc a week later.

Will the system be OK going forward to 13-14 and then roll back to 11-12 a week later or will it puke on the old disc now that it has gone forward?

 

When I went from the 09-10 disk to the 10-11 disk I had no issues going back to the 09-10 disk and back to the 10-11 disk again. The software only loaded when I first put in the 10-11 disk.
