Engine coolant low (but it's not)
My dad got hurt in a motorcycle accident and I was flying down the road to get him to the hospital to get checked out. While en route I got a red error message on my dash telling me my engine coolant was low.
After dropping the pops off I went to the auto store and pick up some coolant. I popped the hood and saw that the coolant level was about 1-2 inches below the line. I slowly opened the cap because I knew it was pressurized. As I got closer to getting the cap off the, the coolant level just started rising on its own back up to the preferred level.
What the heck is going on?

You dropped the pressure in the system when you opened the cap and the water began to vaporize, your lucky it's low or you might have gotten a hot coolant bath. You need to wait until it cools off and then add some coolant.
