Engine and VIN numbers - where to find
Hi all. I am in the process of importing my Ukraine-registered Jagua XF 2.0 2013 into Switzerland. In order to be accepted to MoT (called "MFK" in German), I need to provide:
- "photo of clearly legible engine number (on the left, on the engine block)";
- "photo of VIN number stamped on the chassis" (not behind the windshield, that I already provided).
Does anyone know where exactly is the VIN number if not on the winshield?
And more importantly how to find the engine number? Previously I was not able to find it by inspecting engine from the top, bottom and from sides. My ukrainian dealer had told me that the number can be accessed by freeing up the engine compartment, however they could not say what exactly to disassemble.
Insane import procedure...
Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!
