A hearty CONGRATULATIONS.

Not being an XFR owner, nor ever likely to be, what are the small rectangles and circle piece in the front valance covering? (not the very small licence plate screw covers).

Congratulations! Great car. Good work squeezing those photos in at dusk so we could get a look. What color is the interior? Photos would be nice if you could. You can now update your signature from the "on order status"!

I suspect those shapes in the front may be active cruise control radar locations?

I believe you are correct, they are some type of sensors....either the adaptive cruise control....or the parking assist. As for the interior it is the Ivory....I was a bit hesitant ordering the combination sight unseen......but I think it looks FABULOUS! I will post pictures in the next couple of days! Thanks for the kind words!

The large circle likely is the pop out to allow access to a towing eye for vehicle recovery. On many Euro cars there is a towing eye stowed with the jack and under that removable cover will be a threaded hole in the "frame" strong enough to use to pull the car out of a ditch.

The 2012 will have front parking sensors similar to the ones one the rear, the two small round dots. Those rectangular blanking plates are a puzzle. If Jaguar redesigned the headlight washers for 2012 then maybe those cover the holes for that system if not fitted. Older XF had headlight washers mounted right under the headlights not in the bumper face.

I believe Translator refers to the "holes" in the front bumper itself. The rectangular (parallelogram) ones are the headlight washers which pop out when needed, the large circular one found on the right side only is the towing eye attachment cover, and the small round ones seen in the head-on shot are the parking sensors. There is no sign whatsoever of front license mounting attachments. When adaptive cruise control is fitted the sensors are located behind the lower grilles.

Very nice car. Please don't turn this fine automobile into a Fast and the Furious/overly modified/wanna be Japanese tuner car.

how does the Rhodium Silver compare to the Liquid Silver? Must be a new color?

It's very similar to the Liquid Silver.....hard to tell them apart unless side by side.
