A tape measure will tell you what you want to know.

Gezzz. That's not what i asked, but thanks for the useless comment.
Don't you think if i had one on hand, i wouldn't measure the dimensions myself?
I'm simply asking for owner's feedback on moving large object such a flat screen TV in their Trunk or back seat.

You'll still get a faster and more accurate answer if you just go borrow a tape measure. The store selling the box might even have one.

Or tie a knot in a piece of string and measure against standard floor tiles. Floor tiles come in standard sizes, which any search engine will reveal to those who care to look for themselves, if they don't know already.

Or measure against a standard sheet of letter paper. It also comes in standard, known dimensions. Smaller dimensions can be found by folding the paper.

the trunk opening on these cars in unfortunately small, so the fold down seats won't be of much help. You could try sliding it in to the back seat but I don't think the back doors open enough to slide in such a large object, you might be able to slide both of your front seats as far forward as possible, slide the TV in through one of the back doors, then put the tv on the back seat, and then adjust your front seats back to normal. I don't know if that will really work though

good luck

What about removing it from the box to transport? you can always flatten and fold the box after discarding the styrophome.

I picked up my 46 inch LED TV today and the box won't fit. You can easily fit just the TV though without a problem.

I brought 3 blankets with me and covered the whole back seating area and placed just TV and it went in without a problem and still had a lot of space left to position the TV.

if you need the box, i suggest hire a mover or ask a friend with a truck to help you out. My TV was an open box item, so it didnt come in an original box so i really didnt care for the box.

Hey Kevinsuk, that would have been my answer as well. I moved a large TV like that from DC to NYC. As you know LED TV's are very thin so they must be protected.
