Have a 2012 XF 5.0 L. Saw this label inside the engine bay. "Flash ECM" Its is done by the dealer. Dealer label says "Authorized Modifications". This was done I believe 2016. I bought the car in 2017

Any idea why would that label be there?

 

It was a voluntary emissions recall

Think sticker was just so they knew it had been done.
