Question Flowmaster super 44 series muffler for Jaguar XF

Hi,
I would like an advice on whether flowmaster super 44 series mufflers a good choice for a 2011 Jaguar Xf V8 5L. This muffler does have good reviews but does not have much topics related with Jaguar.
P.S mina, spires and quick silver can not be found at any local shop in the GTA.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Ajay Mann,

I've moved your question from Jaguar Forums Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center to XF/XFR forum. The Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center is for posts about the forum and not for technical questions.

Members here with the same model will be able to help.

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

I don't have any experience with Flowmaster, especially on Jaguar. However, I've heard them many times on Muscle cars and I never really liked the sound. I guess if you want your Jag to sound like a Camaro or Mustang they should do the trick. If I'm not mistaken I thought they had higher back pressure than a lot of aftermarket mufflers.

You would need to order any of the exhausts you mention. Mina will ship to you and is stateside. My advice is to find a muffler shop that works with European brands and see what they've done previously. European Car used Vibrant for their project XFR and I've heard good things about Bassani with the European marques. Might also check out Magnaflow.

I ran Magnaflow on my Audi S4 before and it was awesome. A bit loud but when running 3.5" exhaust it comes with the territory. I've always been curious about Borla but never have tried them yet. I'd want something a bit more Euro/exotic sounding vs American muscle.

Super 44s are loud. I had one on my BMW 540. It depends on if you want to be loud or not. Super 50 might be a better choice.

I had installed magnaflows on my M5. Sounded great and didn't break the bank. No experience flowmasters.
