My doors aren't locking properly resulting in a double beep when locking, I have also noticed when unlocking the drivers side doesn't unlock sometimes when the rest do. Upon stripping it down in found the main locking cable that goes to the door handle doesnt pull or send to it full travel. I'm thinking about replacing the full door mechanism but it also appears to be attached to the back of the door handle (keyless go on entry model). Doesn't anyone have a guide on how to get it all out so I can swap them over?

 

There is a great YouTube video on replacing the rear one. It's a bit fiddly to get the lock actuator our past the window glass but it's doable. See link below. Front door of course a bit different but this should help you see how they work
