Fuel Filter
DI engine so the only filter is on the pump in the tank.
Not serviceable without replacing the fuel pump in the tank. This is the low pressure pump that feeds the high pressure gear driven fuel pumps used to get the very high DI fuel pressure.
Seems strange to me too! But it's the same with other cars. My wife has a Lincoln MKS with the DI 3.5L ECO Boost Engine. Same thing.

You can service everything from the back seat thru the access ports. If you remove the pump assy. the filter is attached. Now again your going to need to shade tree this a bit because you can't get the filter but many fuel pumps come with the same type so it's not a problem to match one up. Can you get the filter/sock separately from your local parts store? You probably can.
Are you aware of the tool needed to remove the locking ring that holds the pump in the tank?
Some have tried with a hammer and screw driver but it can be very tight and I would just get the correct tool to prevent breaking stuff. It's all plastic.
