Default The Gig is up

We've all been found out...

This month's Car&Driver has an article on used XFs and the say that they are an excellent car to buy due to depreciation.

Now everyone will know and prices may start reflecting that.

One note however, they pretty much say that no one wants the 4cyl model based on the number that are being traded in. Seems people buy them, find they don't like the lack of usable power, and are immediately trading them in for a V6 or V8.

That's great, that means my car will be worth more. LOL. I just got mine last month and I must admit, I was set on getting an Audi A6. The Jag wasn't even on my radar until I test drove it, and with the $6000 difference, the Jag was in the bag.

Same here. I drove one XF supercharged at Carmax but it had Pilot SS tires that were loud as hell so I passed on it. Was looking at A6 3.0T (for the tuning capabilities) but drove another XF SC, this time with Conti DWS and loved it. So far no regrets. I will admit I'm still longing for a 2010 E63 though...
